Thank you for the great blog post. I don't know what happened to the original Dec 2, 2015 Novel Rocket post - I didn't receive it - but am glad that I followed a link from the Feb 3, 2016 post to your website, which led to Amazon and another link to this blog post.
Not being an English major - some days I think I'm barely on speaking terms with the English language - I haven't read much poetry but, because of your article, I intend to begin. Are there any other poets you would recommend? I write historical fiction and imagine there are numerous opportunities to incorporate poetic reference and verses.
